Terms & conditions

Who we are
This website is operated by Mercian Minis, 2 Sycamore Drive, Truro, United Kingdom, TR4 9FU. You can contact us at hello@mercianminis.co.uk. By placing an order you agree to these terms.
Our products
We sell Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar models — new and pre-owned, boxed sets and individual models. Each item’s condition — from sealed and unopened through to part-built or painted — is described on its product page. Photographs and colours are indicative; because some items are pre-owned or come without their original box, minor variation is normal and is reflected in the stated condition.
Trademarks
Mercian Minis is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Games Workshop. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept your order by dispatching it (or by emailing to confirm dispatch). Occasionally we may be unable to accept an order — for example if an item is out of stock or there was a pricing error — in which case we’ll let you know and refund any payment in full.
Prices & payment
Prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) as shown at checkout, and UK delivery is free. Payment is taken at checkout, either through Stripe (cards and the other methods shown at checkout) or through PayPal. We don’t store your card or PayPal details.
Delivery
We currently ship to the United Kingdom only, free, by a Royal Mail tracked service that we choose for your parcel. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your password secure and for orders placed through your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time; any blessings on it are lost when it closes.
Blessings (our loyalty points)
- Signed-in customers earn blessings — credit worth 5% of what they pay for an order (the amount actually paid, after any discount or blessings used) to spend on future orders. A guest order earns too, once you create an account with the same email address and verify it; those blessings are added on the day you verify.
- Blessings are added once your payment is confirmed and expire 12 monthsafter they’re added; when you spend them, the oldest go first. We’ll email you a reminder before any expire.
- You can use them at checkout once you have at least £1.00, up to most of the order’s value (a small amount always has to be paid). Blessings are set aside for an order when you place it and come back if that order is cancelled or never paid.
- If an order is refunded, the blessings it earned are taken back (in proportion, for a partial refund — but never below a zero balance); if you get a full refund, any blessings you spent on that order are returned to you.
- Blessings have no cash value, can’t be transferred or exchanged for money, and can’t be combined with the first-order offer on the same order. We may change or end the scheme; if we end it, we’ll give you reasonable notice to use your balance.
First-order offer
Your first order with us gets 10% off, up to £25.00 — once per customer. To get it you need to be signed in with a verified email address, and no earlier paid order can have been placed under that email (as a guest or with an account). It applies to the price of the goods, can’t be used on the same order as blessings, and has no cash value. Blessings on that order are earned on the discounted amount. If the offer appears to have been claimed before — for example, with the same card or delivery address — we may cancel the order before dispatch and refund it in full. The offer then counts as used, but you’re welcome to order again at the normal price.
Cancellation, returns & faulty goods
You have a 14-day right to cancel, and statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described. Full details, and how to claim, are on our returns & refunds page.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud — or affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made.
Events outside our control
We’re not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as postal disruption; if one happens we’ll contact you and, where appropriate, arrange a refund.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. These terms don’t affect your statutory rights.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it.
